Can the Lions get a fair break today? Will the Stormers fans support them? All critical questions to be answered today.

Stormers should win by at least 20.

I feel sorry for Coleman, his confidence is obviously completely shot. Not much you can do in that situation.Good game so far.

JW I trust you realise the Stormers try was scored when Hollenbach was down injured.
I can only advise all backs not to get in Eben's way.
Heard Mal let referring to how the Bulle were "shafted". Glad Nick calls aspade a spade.

Knocks Stormers off second spot. That is that big problem now. Not that there is any chance of winning the comp if you have to travel down under and play under a bent down under ref! You have to be about 30 points better!!!

It's unlucky that the Lions will not make the playoffs after seeing some great rugby this season. I hope Johan Ackermann can retain these players in the team for more years to come.

Lions were very unlucky. Stormers scored their try when Hollenbach was down and out after colliding with the man mountain Eztebeth. Left a few wobbly knees in nz that did! Bwahhahahahahaha
Lions need to add depth to squad. Whitely has played every game  I hear. But they MUST build on this.Aim has to be 4 SA sides in top 6.Bulls and Stormers need new coach and Gold has to mprove he can set the Sharks ship right. Its absurd how poor the Bulle and Sharks have been this year and the Mighty Stormers also need to get a decent backline in place for next year.
If we have any palyers left is another worry. The parasitic NH, Japan and oz could deci mate our playing resources.

Congrats to the Lions for battling every game - including this one. I only saw the first half but it had some good plays, the stormers were passing the ball well & looked like they would win it. My grandson took priority so I missed the second half, I will download & watch the whole game tomorrow.
I will also check the nationality of the ref

...JW, does sound a bit suspicious having a SA team in the top six doesn't it...good for TV ratings in SA I suppose...not sure who will want to watch it next year in SA with them playing in a conference with Japan and Argentina though???...

Glad your grandson was watching over you JW. I worry about you! There were no reffing problems so JW you can safely conclude he was a Saffa! No engineering a Stormers win - in fact we got a fatal yellow near the end!

Brycy: the SA officials rigged the system so an SA team will qualify no matter if several kiwi teams have more wins .
Beeno engaged in "brilliant" distraction by raving erroneously about the "bent" refs.

For me Nizaam Carr was man of the match, he got involved in the game, made solid tackles, carried the ball well and scored a decent try.
