Any ideas on why Heinke is playing test rugby?

Would love to hear useless Meyers take on Heinke s selection.

Malherbe did nothing to impress.
Never has ... never will either.
Besides ... he spends more time on the injured list than on the actual field playing rugby.
Not Bok material.

Malherbe was the source of he scrum problems. Watch the scrum where Burger was forced to touch back. Malherbe was totally dominated. I love the way Heinke was fingered when Malherbe was in reverse.
This guy is powerful, but technically poor...so he can be destructive in a dominating scrum. Sadly as we were reminded yesterday, he has no answers under pressure.

Put your bra back on Tokkie..Heinke was for an early hit, Strauss' knee hit the deck because Malherbe collapsed.

That accounts for two pr you still working out a myth why Malherbe has to be blamed for all three penalties - but you are always a liar so why bother. Just a question - how come Malherbe was on both feet standing level when Strauss was penalized? But you are always a liar so why bother.

Oh so how do you explain the fact that when Malherbe replaced Jannie while Bismark and Beast were still on and they marched the Oz scrum backwards with interest.....something the Bok scrum never did while Jannie was on.
Enter Heinke and Strauss and we see the Bok scrum struggle. Are you bright enough to work out where the issue lies?
Further help might just be the refs calls and the need to move to Heinke side and penalise him.
Why not read the player ratings as well and see what they said about Malherbe and Heinke.
Moz do you know anything about props....seriously?

Sorry Dave you don't have to go through all that tortured logic. You just have to look at Sio lifting and shunting Malherbe back. Based on the S15 I really thought Malherbe would do better . He didn't. Heinke stood solidly it was Malherbe's side which staggered back. Case closed.

Rubbish the issue was with Strauss on his knees and Heinke being completely out of his depth.
So talk me through the scrum where Malherbe first replaced Jannie.....what was that then?
It amazes me that you miss the obvious....when did Heinke ever merit selection .....the scrum prior to his entrance are all dominated by the Boks, in particular when Malherbe replaced Jannie......enter Heinke and the wheels come off and you miss this obvious fact.
Moz you seriously know nothing about props.

I'm not saying Heinke merited selection. But you have to accept Malherbe was in trouble in every scrum after his first two scrums. We certainly don't want that kind of scrumming performance in the WC. I thought he had got his act together....yesterday disproved it.
As for knowing something about props, you are the guy who touted Werner Kruger and the equally hopeless Marcel. I spotted their issues immediately. I seem to know a lot more than you and I'm not so emotionally besotted that I cant call it as it is.

Nope there was no issue with Malherbe in the scrums......if there had been he would not have got the write up he did.......the issue arose when Heinke entered the equation as he was completely out of his depth......the very reason poor Strauss ended up on his knees as well......is Strauss now also a weakness as scrum time.
Oh for fuck sake, wake up re Werner Kruger, did I not concede I got him wrong.....fucking move on.....its one thing trying to debate the merits but when you throw in Kruger it gets pathetic.
You take on Marcel v/d Merwe is as ignorant as your take on Malherbe.
You have always got props wrong....starting with useless BJ Botha
The issue yesterday was the entrance of Heinke....it had nothing to do with Malherbe.....he stood firm

This might help a little
17 Heinke van der Merwe (On for Mtawarira, 49 mins)Put under pressure in the scrums and seemed a little off the pace in the tight loos e.5/10
Unless you want us to believe that all of a sudden Malherbe and more to the point - Strauss no longer can scrum?????????????

Dave was hot to trot about Flexing Faan, Bezuidenhout, Gurthro, Marcel, Werner Kruger, Greyling and now Malherbe. All the same type of fattie that can't scrum....all flops, except oddly for Gurthro, who he now dumps on. Hell Marherbe should have been penalized for stomach on the deck....the lad is a world class porker.

Desert Disaster
I might have been going to the corner because pf my kindness when I thought of how lonely your fate have been being a permanent fixture there and how I wanted a closer look at the dunce cap you were always wearing - which became too small through the years - and wanted to ask your mama to make a bigger one. After all - the dunce cap could not last 10 years and had to have been replaced more regularly. I al ways was kind-hearted and pitied you in your case as well.
