He set a quiet fracture where the old lines used to be,
And found no echo rising back, but something like reprieve.
It lingered, faint and stubborn, where his sharper edges stayed
So sideways words slipped out instead, when straighter ones delayed.

And the US military isn’t aware of that development….but you are? A bit arrogant. The change is the machine guns are now AI controlled, there is no human interface.
Where did I say they weren't. Yes I'm sure A.I will help. But machine guns calibre amunitoin have limited range. Shahed for example can still fly above the range of the ammunition travel.
You stated.
Drones can now be shot down for minimum cost using low tech, AI directed machine guns.
You should caveated that as demonstrated in a test environment of a weapons system that isn't ready for large scale deployment. Just asking A.I it gives a time line of one to three years for mass production of the weapons system, assuming the order was given today for mass production.
Just when I thought we were having a civil discussion, Mozart's obsessive one-upmanship gets the better of him again.
I just laugh at it now. It's actually hilarious a grown adult actually acts like this. I know children who have more cop on than him.
recent developments confirm low-cost, AI-directed systems using existing machine guns can effectively shoot down drones for as little as $10 per intercept. These solutions address the imbalance where cheap drones (often under $2,000) previously overwhelmed expensive missile defenses.
AI machine gun turret
Allen Control Systems' Bullfrog mounts AI-driven sensors, computer vision, and robotics onto standard machine guns like the M240, enabling autonomous detection, tracking, and neutralization of small to Group 3 drones up to 800 meters away. It uses passive sensors and edge AI trained on vast datasets for precise targeting, minimizing ammo waste with predictive firing. The US Marines, Army, Navy, and Special Operations Command have adopted it, inspired by Ukraine-Russia drone warfare.
This turret weighs under 200 lbs, runs on 24V DC for vehicle integration, and offers human-in/out-of-loop modes for safety.
Bullfrog achieves ~$10 per drone kill via cheap 7.62mm rounds (pennies each) and efficient bursts, versus millions for missiles against $1,000-30,000 drones. Russian and Ukrainian forces also deploy similar AI machine gun setups for suicide drone intercepts.
These "low-tech" upgrades (repurposing WWII-era guns with modern AI) shift counter-drone tactics toward kinetic point defense, proven in conflicts like Ukraine where humans struggle against agile UAVs. Proliferation raises concerns over lowered warfare barriers due to affordability

From what I have read, America has been using very expensive ways to stop drones.
They could have got this in place before attacking Iran, thus emphasising that they entered a war not prepared for AI
Ukraine pioneered the practical battlefield concept of AI-directed machine guns for drone defence in 2023, predating Bullfrog's public debut.
No, there are no confirmed reports of the US deploying Bullfrog or similar AI-directed machine guns specifically in the ongoing Iran conflict. US forces have heavily integrated other AI systems like Maven and Claude for targeting, intelligence, and logistics, enabling rapid strikes on thousands of Iranian targets.
Bullfrog systems are in production and testing phases with US Marines, Army, Navy, SOCOM, and integrated on platforms like Abrams tanks and Bradley IFVs, primarily against Shahed-like drones. Contracts were signed in 2025, with exports to allies like South Korea and UAE, but usage remains in trials or non-Iran theaters—no battlefield footage or official statements confirm Iran deployment as of April 2026.
The US-Iran war, starting late February 2026 with Operation Epic Fury, features widespread AI for data analysis and airstrikes but focuses on high-end munitions over kinetic gun defenses. Drone threats exist (e.g., Iranian Shaheds), yet coverage emphasizes missiles and autonomous drones rather than Bullfrog. Social media mentions hint at early conflict use, but lack verification.

About the time I had to start pulling it out of your arse and had to hand you the Vaseline.
and the response to a statement many would say is not unreasonable
The tragedy of this Western division is that the real winners are Iran, Russia and China. They’re working together to defeat the U.S. in the Gulf and weaken American deterrence.
The sheer f**king stupidity of this sentence, who created the division you dimwit hack...take responsibility for your actions.
and this:
It will be paid for by the world you idiot.. Europe actually doesn't get a lot of oil directly from that part of the world... but restricting supply anywhere in the world means the price goes up for everyone
and this:
Again up in the ivory tower, looking down at the plebs
Or this pathetic response when his $300 trillion gift to a country with a $180 trillion net worth was debunked

ROLF... you can just tell the desperation in Moz's posts as he frantically tries to convince himself he didn't just getting utterly owned. He's going be smarting from this one for a long time to come.
Owned… I guess in your world Rooinek that’s less offensive than schooled
or this ‘bit of pathetic one- upmanship’
Well when I'm speaking to people of the intellectual calibre of you and Draad and those in the MAGA sphere, I really got to dumb down my arguments into something you can understand. But it's a pretty hopeless task if I'm being honest
……..
I could go on documenting more remarks that you apparently regard as less incendiary than ‘schooled’. But I think that makes the point. My conclusion is you agree with his viewpoints and so the snide arrogance of almost every post he makes doesn’t register. Or worse, you have registered it but for partisan reasons can’t bring yourself to be critical.
"Well when I'm speaking to people of the intellectual calibre of you and Draad and those in the MAGA sphere, I really got to dumb down my arguments into something you can understand. But it's a pretty hopeless task if I'm being honest"
LOL...not a honest bone in your body...sadly...but dumb it down even more so you can understand it too...
Mozart, my point was that for once we were having a civil discussion without any childish insults being thrown around and then you just couldn't help yourself and had to say you had schooled someone again.
That's all.
"Mozart, my point was that for once we were having a civil discussion without any childish insults being thrown around and then you just couldn't help yourself and had to say you had schooled someone again."
Will you be doing the same unbiased moderating on all threads you're involved in?
I'd welcome the calling out of childish insults and belittling responses to posts that aren't childish, insulting or belittling.
Asking for a friend.
So Rooinek my comment of ‘schooled’ is more offensive than:
LOL your obsession with me continues.
How long would I be here if I was to quote all the times you tried to one up someone.
I remember shortly after I started posting on here, other posters warned me about your arrogant, pompous nature so you've been clearly at it for a long time.
Asking for a friend.
Ain't going happen. If this forum was moderated, most of the content would be removed for not being relevant to the topic or trolling
Rooi's moderation is not "official" nor would it result in anything being removed.
More of a bit of unbiased moral moderation resulting in call-outs.
No permission or qualifications needed.
So the question stands. Does Rooi undertake to moderate and call out people that ruin threads with insults, trolling, irrelevance, etc?
Or was this one-time thing?
I hope not because I'd like to see some unbiased moderation and call-outs.
Here's hoping.

I hope not because I'd like to see some unbiased moderation and call-outs.
Here's hoping.
Alright, tell you what, I'm game if you're game. No insults, no call outs, no one upmanship, no thread derailments. Lets just stick to debating in civil manner. Lets see if anyone else follows suit.
I was simply asking if Rooi wishes to continue his unbiased moderation and stating that I hope he does.
You, of course, are welcome to continue to behave in any way that you deem fit, necessary or feel emotionally compelled to.
I would support a sober, reflective tone of debate on here. No use of terms like Bozo or Melanoma or MAGA. I’m thinking right wing and left wing are also incendiary.
For my part I will always use ‘owned’ instead of the disgusting ‘schooled’ which I admit has probably caused psychological damage to some of our more fragile posters.
And I promise to read all five posts that will hopefully appear every day on the more sober Mikes Gripes.
Oh and no more videos except on rugby or emojis.
So in summary I have nothing against insults, bitter debates or conflict. Except when it is directed at a poster who can’t defend himself, involves family or is clearly intended to inflict some kind of psychological damage. Debates like the one on the Bullfrog force the participants to do some helpful research. There are many numbers, dates, policies, events I now know, which I didn’t before.
But the debates need to be honest and preferably less emotional. Fact based, quantitative and hopefully humorous. Not unnecessarily nasty, hysterical and smug.
And occasionally, it’s not a sign of weakness to agree with your opponents point, especially when that opponent is me.
Seriously these brief moments of unanimity clearly create a bit of joy, no disgrace in that.
"Ain't going happen. If this forum was moderated, most of the content would be removed for not being relevant to the topic or trolling"
It is moderated very slightly... I like it the way it is ...if they started to moderate it like what you describe, it will die a sudden death.
