Christians claim God is eternal and always has been, if this is plausable for a god then surely it is plausable for everything else. If everything is eternal and always has existing then then is no need for a creator is there.
As to the answer how would I know I am just human and a lot of smarter people than me dont know the answer, mind you a lot of stupider people claim that they do so go figure that one out

Hacked waaugh you forgot some details when talking about the mass killing by atheists take a peek at this:

Concerning atheism and mass murderChristian apologist Gregory Koukl wrote that "the assertion is that religion has caused most of the killing and bloodshed in the world. There are people who make accusations and assertions that are empirically false. This is one of them."[1]Koukl details the number of people killed in various events involving theism and compares them to the much higher tens of millions of people killed under atheistic communist regimes, in which militant atheism served as the official doctrine of the state.[1] See also: Atheism and communism

Communist regimes killed 60 million in the 20th century through genocide, according to Le Monde, more than 100 million people[2] according to The Black Book of Communism (Courtois, Stéphane, et al., 1997).[3] and according to Cleon Skousen[4] in his best-selling book The Naked Communist.[5]

It is estimated that in the past 100 years, governments under the banner of atheistic communism have caused the death of somewhere between 40,472,000 and 259,432,000 human lives.[6] Dr. R. J. Rummel, professor emeritus of political science at the University of Hawaii, is the scholar who first coined the term democide (death by government). Dr. R. J. Rummel's mid estimate regarding the loss of life due to communism is that communism caused the death of approximately 110,286,000 people between 1917 and 1987.[7]

The Reign of Terror of the French Revolution established a state which was anti-Roman Catholicism/Christian in nature [8] (anti-clerical deismand anti-religious atheism during the Enlightenment played a significant role in the French Revolution[9][10]), with the official ideology being the Cult of Reason; during this time thousands of believers were suppressed and executed by the guillotine.[11] Although Communism is one of the most well-known cases of atheism's ties to mass murder, the French Revolution and subsequent Reign of Terror, inspired by the works of DiderotVoltaireSade, and Rousseau, managed to commit similar persecutions and exterminations of religious people and promote secularism and militant atheism. Official numbers indicate that 300,000 Frenchmen died during Robespierre's Reign of Terror, 297,000 of which were of middle-class or low-class.[12] Of the amount murdered via the guillotine, only 8% had been of the aristocratic class, with over 30% being from the peasant class.[13]

One of the most well known cases of mass murder during the French Revolution was the genocide at Vendée, which has yet to be officially recognized as genocide. Some estimates indicated that Robespierre and the Jacobins planned to massacre well over 15,000,000 Frenchmen,[12] and that he also intended to commit genocide against the Alsace region of France due to their German-speaking populace.[13] Besides the guillotine, the French Revolution also resulted in various other deaths, including trampling children with horses, burning people in ovens, "Republican Marriages" (which involved stripping people naked, tying them together to a log in a suggestive fashion, and then putting them into the water to drown. In the event that there wasn't enough people of both sexes, they also resorted to "tying the knot" in a homosexual manner), cutting recently raped girls in half after tying them to a tree, crushing pregnant women under wine pressers, cutting up pregnant women and using bayonets to stab the fetus inside before leaving her to die, "catching" infants thrown from a balcony with their bayonets, and using shotguns to ensure people bled out to death.[13]

The aforementioned actions during the French Revolution, especially the Reign of Terror in 1793, would also inspire Karl Marx with the Communist manifesto, specifically telling Frederick Engels in correspondences to each other: “There is only one way of shortening, simplifying, and concentrating the bloodthirsty death-throes of the old society and the bloody birth pangs of the new—revolutionary terror. . . . [...] Once we are at the helm, we shall be obliged to reenact the year 1793. [...] We are pitiless and we ask no pity from you. When our time comes, we shall not conceal terrorism with hypocritical phrases. . . The vengeance of the people will break forth with such ferocity that not even the year 1793 enables us to envisage it...”[14]

Koukl summarized by stating:

“It is true that it's possible that religion can produce evil, and generally when we look closer at the detail it produces evil because the individual people are actually living in a rejection of the tenets of Christianity and a rejection of the God that they are supposed to be following. So it can produce it, but the historical fact is that outright rejection of God and institutionalizing of atheism actually does produce evil on incredible levels. We're talking about tens of millions of people as a result of the rejection of God.[1]

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn offered the following explanation:

“Over a half century ago, while I was still a child, I recall hearing a number of old people offer the following explanation for the great disasters that had befallen Russia: 'Men have forgotten God; that's why all this has happened.'

Since then I have spend well-nigh 50 years working on the history of our revolution; in the process I have read hundreds of books, collected hundreds of personal testimonies, and have already contributed eight volumes of my own toward the effort of clearing away the rubble left by that upheaval. But if I were asked today to formulate as concisely as possible the main cause of the ruinous revolution that swallowed up some 60 million of our people, I could not put it more accurately than to repeat: 'Men have forgotten God; that's why all this has happened.' [1

I see poor little denny is scuttlng away as fast as his fat little legs can carry him. Hahahahaha'Now back to the issue of how dangerous these atheistic lunatics are!

The ex-atheist Theodore Beale notes concerning atheism and mass murder:

“Apparently it was just an amazing coincidence that every Communist of historical note publicly declared his atheism … .there have been twenty-eight countries in world history that can be confirmed to have been ruled by regimes with avowed atheists at the helm … These twenty-eight historical regimes have been ruled by eighty-nine atheists, of whom more than half have engaged in democidal acts of the sort committed by Stalin and Mao

The total body count for the ninety years between 1917 and 2007 is approximately 148 million dead at the bloody hands of fifty-two atheists, three times more than all the human beings killed by war, civil war, and individual crime in the entire twentieth century combined.

The historical record of collective atheism is thus 182,716 times worse on an annual basis than Christianity’s worst and most infamous misdeed, the Spanish Inquisition (Perpertarted by the Catholic Church against bible believing Christians!!!!!). It is not only Stalin and Mao who were so murderously inclined, they were merely the worst of the whole Hell-bound lot. For every Pol Pot whose infamous name is still spoken with horror today, there was a Mengistu, a Bierut, and a Choibalsan, godless men whose names are now forgotten everywhere but in the lands they once ruled with a red hand.

Is a 58 percent chance that an atheist leader will murder a noticeable percentage of the population over which he rules sufficient evidence that atheism does, in fact, provide a systematic influence to do bad things? If that is not deemed to be conclusive, how about the fact that the average atheist crime against humanity is 18.3 million percent worse than the very worst depredation committed by Christians, even though atheists have had less than one-twentieth the number of opportunities with which to commit them. If one considers the statistically significant size of the historical atheist set and contrasts it with the fact that not one in a thousand religious leaders have committed similarly large-scale atrocities, it is impossible to conclude otherwise, even if we do not yet understand exactly why this should be the case. Once might be an accident, even twice could be coincidence, but fifty-two incidents in ninety years reeks of causation![16]

Tx for a brutally honest answer.......I didn't expect an explanation from you or anyone else, Christians of course would be quoting the Bible which doesn't answer the question either.

So, it's back to where I started when I said ..."We don't know"....and we'll never know.

Beeno no one stated that all athiests are good people just like no one is claiming all christians are good.
There are good and bad people in all walks of life no mater what race, religion etc
If it turns out that we could get an accurate count and found that athiest had killed more people than religious people does that make it ok for the religious to kill as they are coming 2nd?
If religious people were actually religious that number would be 0 but guess what its not it is in the millions if not the billions.

Sharkbok if you want to find truth go to the bible and seek the Lord Jesus Christ. IF you seek Me in EARNEST you will find. I don't think Jesus is alive and I don't wonder about it I KNOW IT. He has revealed Himself to me - that actually is the only way you get to really know.Jesus is GOD the Son and the worlds were made by HIM. He has complete authority and His will WILL be done on earth as it is in Heaven whether anybody believes it or likes it. He WILL rule.NOBODY comes to the Father but by HIM (Jesus). All the rest is absolute worthless rubbish. As for Isalm it is a cult worshipping allah the moon god. It has zero to do with the God of the bible and is simply another Satanic deceit.  Will Europe who has largely abandoned the true God continue to be deceived by islam. These Globalist are in allia nce  with islam and that is a quite a combination. But in the end the victory over all these things is assured but I watch and see how biblical prophecy keeps panning out

Everyone is debating in a robust manner just like any discussion should except for you know who with his vile threats and rabid ranting.I throw a bit of humor in which some people seem to dislike but its not personal. This is a subject i simply find fasinating and enjoy discussing but unfortunatly things can get very heated very fast but I hope everyone is adult enough (beeno excluded) to accept it as a debate.I know that I will not convert anyone away from their beliefs but when people close their minds entirley it leads to a darker place and if we get to many Beeno's look out.
Maybe its the way i was raised but when we had discussions (arguements) it always would get quiet heated but it was never taken personally. Maybe I should blame my parents for teaching me to never be afraid to state your side of an argument.

One can argue about religion ad infintum. Nobody can explain existence....and even if it's all evolution.....what created the propensity to evolve? ... What you can't argue about is the role of religion as an organizing force in the history of man, going all the way back to the pagan gods. Without that discipline and need to come together mankind would be nowhere as advanced. What remains to be seen is if worshipping ourselves, as people do in Western Europe now, works as well. We have deified man, elevated scientists to the role of high priests....and there are no checks and balances except our own morality. .. Will it work? As I read of men killing animals for magic potions, see the sad state of people in North Korea, I have my doubts. Without an external discipline the zoo could run amok..

Given ou CF vitriolic hatred of God you have to wonder who this freak is!  Of course he could be a genuinely foolish atheist like that piss mint mamapara and noted half wit rooitwit ( Still many levels above ou dense denise)I have to say I always marvel at how God puts up with people who rage against him like the fiends they are. God is great that's is for sure!I have to say anybody thinking the universe created itself from nothing, that matter decided to live and that intelligence evolved from nothing essentially - has to be the most foolish of people. No wonder God calls them fools.
I try not to despise these foolish atheists but its hard given the extent of their utter foolishness - but I do try!. One does pity them as they flounder and stumble about in darkness captive to satanic mind control. So I keep giving them the good message! Man one can only hope that one day they see the light. Currently their choice is to spend eternity with Satan. That is horrific. They don't even believe Satan exists. I once actually saw a demon with my own eyes many years ago. What a shock that was and so unexpected. Worse looking than rooitwit I can assure you!!! Anybody not thinking there is a spiri titual realm is very badly mistaken.

Guess who wont be joining in the fight yes you got it dense denise  who of course is not really a genuine Ozzie in any case.Australia Ready to Back U.S., Will Join Any Conflict with North Korea

CANBERRA, Australia — Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says if North Korea directly launches an attack on the United States mainland or any of its overseas territories including Guam, Australia will immediately join the conflict.

America stands by its allies, including Australia of course, and we stand by the United States,” Mr Turnbull told local radio station 3AW on Friday morning.

“So be very, very clear on that. If there’s an attack on the US, the ANZUS Treaty would be invoked and Australia would come to the aid of the United States, as America would come to our aid if we were attacked.” (WHAT A GREAT DEAL OIF OZ AND NZ, USA PROTECTION. ARE THEY WORTHY OF THIS. I HAVE MY DOUBTS ABOUT NZ GIVEN THEIR DISPARAGING REMARKS ABOUT THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT! THAT SAID I WOULD HATE ANY HARM TO COME TO HACKED WAAUGH, CLOUDY AND JUSTIN MARSHALL)

The ANZUS Treaty binds the U.S., Australia and New Zealand together in a defense pact covering military matters in the Pacific Ocean region. It provides that an armed attack on any of the three parties would be dangerous to the others, and that each should act to meet the common threat.

Mr Turnbull also revealed he had discussed North Korea’s behaviour with U.S. Vice-President Mike Pence overnight, calling it “the most dangerous flashpoint in the world today, ” adding the terms of the Australia-U.S. alliance were clear.

“But be under no misapprehension, in terms of defence, we are joined at the hip,” he said. “The American alliance is the absolute bedrock of our national security. If there is an attack on the U.S. … we would come to their aid.(YOU HERE THAT KIWIS. BE MORE RESEPCTFUL OF YOU ALLIANCE PARTNER!!!! WHAT A BUNCH OF TOADS THESE KBBS ARE!!!!)

“Now, how that manifests itself obviously will depend on the circumstances and the consultations with our allies.”

Mr Turnbull confirmed Australia and the U.S. both still believed tough new sanctions on North Korea could force the rogue nation to abandon its nuclear weapons program in favor of a return to international diplomacy.

[The Vice-President’s] view and the view of the administration is that the way to resolve the situation with North Korea … is through these economic sanctions. That’s the preferred way to deal with it,” he said.

“But of course if North Korea decides to carry out some of its violent threats then obviously terrible consequences will follow, and there’s no point ducking that inevitable consequence.” (I TRUST YOU ALL SAW THE CLIP I POSTED WHERE IN 1999 TRUM*P WAS CALLING FOR A PREEMPTIVE STRIKE IF ALL NEGOTIATIONS FAILED AS THE ISSUE WOULD HAVE TO FACED SOME DAY. 25 YEARS OF APPEASEMENT HASN'T WORKED. BUT WE ALL STILL HOPE DIPLOMACY FINALLY WILL WORK. NK SHOULD BE GETTING THE MESSAGE THEY ARE ISOLATED AND WILL BE OBLITERATED IF THEY LAUNCH ANY ATTACK.)

How about this then, some of these wars I know little about so I am doing a Hakwa and taking it on FAITH that these were religious based wars ( in other words I cant be as*ed looking up each one to check)  though some I think are at a stretch to classify as a religious conflict/event. I thought the Rawanda conflict was tribal but there may have been a religious overtone involved as I remember reading that a lot of the deaths occured in the des truction of Catholic churchs
