Funny thing is, when a player is a liability I have absolutely no trouble telling where and when and showing it with footage. The Victor bashers cannot point to anything in game.
And then to reference Smit who retired playing fantastic rugby in 2011.

So follow Matfield in matches and see what he does in games - never did that - never see him moonlighting in the backline and what he does in mauls - or better still what he does not do in such cases.
Work rate? Moonlighting in the backline and making weak tackles - you call that "highest work rate". That is a joke. Work rate for a lock means fighting the battle in the engine room and carrying balls in traffic - entirely absent from poor Victor. You are no good in performance evaluation of players - at times delusional as well.
Smit playing fantastic rugby in 2011? Another joke - he was way past his sell-by date in 2011. Did I read elsewhere you claim the referee buggered up the 78% possession of balls by the Springboks in the 2011 WC quarterfinal? That is th sumtotalof your understanding of rugby!!!!!!!!!

Smit was the best hooker in the country and outplayed Bismarck. A Bissie who was outplayed by several hookers in the country that year. A Bissie who was ineffective in the second NZ test. If you can prove your case, I have all those games on hand and can quickly check any references.

DF
You have gone through so many tests checking references and then comes up with falsified descriptions about what happened in the matches,
We would have won the WC Quarterfinal if it was not for Smit being kept on the field of play - or better still if Bismarck was the starting hooker from the word go.
Victor made a fool of himself and more importantly so - he made the SA Tight 5 hopelessly ineffective since his return to play rugby in 2014, Only fools thinks otherwise.

In what way could the Bok pack have been anymore dominant? Players like Smit and Spies who were much maligned comprehensively dominated Australia, just as they had dominated every other opponent! The Boks were robbed and then the one moment to take the game in spite of that was a break by Jean which Lambie over ran!
My notes stand the test of time and even the other Damian fans conceded it didn't look good.

Reality is when an interpretation is correct and flawless. Yours is anything but that. The way you interpret what happens on the field of play is lying. However, out of politeness I call it misinterpretations.

Politeness, that's a good one! So you have a sense of humour after all.
