Ashwin Willemse Quits Supersport...ON AIR!!!

Willemse may actually have fired himself on air. 

He has put SuperSport/multi-company under major pressure by implying that they employ racists. They have issued a formal statement that they do not believe racism was involved- and by implication that Willemse has made false accusations. 

This company even mentioned they believe Willemse wants to get into politics as a profession. That might be an indirect way of saying that Willemse is saying that he does not want to work in sport. 

I think Willemse is toast. He will probably get less airtime over the coming weeks and months before disappearing altogether. Maybe Willemse has already decided to get into politics as a profession- and made this as a going away comment to build himself as a freedom fighter.

I hear Willemse is still pouting.

All three will not be on air this weekend because of it.

Rugby as a way to bring people together... That is one of the angle used by the world of rugby to promote and sell rugby. Works wonder in SA.

Easy to guess they are happy with the result of graciously awarding two WCs to SA in order to paint SA rugby for what it is not.

I am also becoming convinced that the Willemse incident was staged with a view to the Parliamentary discussions this week.   The issue is clearly done to ensure that the comments are slanted to support players other than Whites.

So the incident was staged:

A quota guy made a language mistake that he corrected immediately in order to bait an unsuspicious and well meaning white man into a belittling act. All this planned by the government.

What you ve got to believe. Spicey.

There are other explanations, like a guy who is imbued with a sense of superiority and jumped at the first opportunity to belittle a guy he considers as inferior.

Nothing staged, it happened.

Remarkably, there is one test for the duo: get them to speak the language spoken by the majority in SA and see how they fare.

Big hit if they are anything near fluent in it.

Probably one of those many who are able to speak the major language of their own country.

As amazing as ever, when reading the comments in this thread, people have not yet come to terms with the fact that SA white people legacy is a legacy of depletion of resources.

That the value of the SA geographical area was more in the 1800s than it is now.

They did not add, they withdrew.

Those two supposedly knowledgeable white SA people would have had the rugby cause better by training a few half decent quota players in SA. They could have opened a school of rugby to train players and put their knowledge to use.

Giving back to the community and stuff.

Instead, they keep milking their status to work as pundits and they are unable to behave on national air .

Umm Ashwin and Naas are both native Afrikaans speakers.

I normally fo not comment on your posts - but have to correct  Zimbabwe was exporting their excess produce up to 2002 and then the agricultural production collapsed when Mugabe decided to kick out the commercial farmers  and started giving those farms to himself  (16 Farms) and Grace and all their pals and fellow looters.
