Fox, earlier this year you said Eben is not good enough to start? Not? You had him on the bench with Flip and Victor starting. Plus, you called him lazy and prone to roid rage?
Note the ?'s. I'm not too sure of all the exact details, but I'm definite you did not rate him as a sure starter.

Draad, of course I am going to be accused of defending "my buddy/comrade/whatever" but will DF have been the only one who has changed his view/s from earlier this year? FFS, how many of those praising FDP to high heaven were over the moon when he was included in the RWC squad.... to name but one. IMO, Eben was not quite what he was, two or three years ago, earlier in the season.

Cera, Eben has been the find of the last 4 years...and although i differ from Card quite a bit on some issues...and needle him about it, I always respected him as a poster and I actually read his views in context. I also changed my view on a few players this year. Jannie being one. I truely believed hr was dine and Meyer was wasting his time with him...and I actually hoped Kirshner could rekindle his form of 2009, as Willie always worried me.You rightly point out thst DdA passed very little of the bit of possession he received, yet you don't mention the fact that he received very little of the abundance of possession. This is obviously the game plan, as the same was obvious against the Yanks too. Schalk also gets blame for standing at 10, as in the 2011 QF. It is obviously the game plan.I actually thought we did better bashing it up than we did with some aimless running and kicking....and the fact that we managed to tough it out and grind out the win was a huge positive for us.
GO BOKKE!!!

Right I've changed my mind. I thought Lomp was a lazy, slow unskilled lock. Now I think he is only lazy in the S15, is probably faster than Stephanie and is very skilled at calling his own lineout number against weak opponents. I've evolved.

Moz 's Bok call at lock is the geriatric Matfield....funny how we ve started winning important WC games with the old man sitting in the stand....while our other old timer Jean is here for moral support and penalty machine Jannie who can't tackle is on the bench.
You get the picture here Moz....guess not.
Let's bring useless Vic back for the semi and watch the AB's dish out their second hiding in a row.
