Friendship has nothing to do with it......I have nothing against Dutchies, I like to wind you lot up a little......you are a conservative bunch and that conservatism is mirrored in our useless coaches.

Don't take it personally Mike, if you do then piss off......I cant be asked with it all.

Conservatism and the taal go hand in hand......its a fact of life.

I hate that our coaches are so conservative.......apart from Ackers......which in itself is so strange as one would always tend to pin a big Afrikaans lock as your picture of conservatism......he does break the mould as does Bakkies by all accounts.

Wait and see whether Meyer select the dunce to play on Saturday.   If he does a loss is certain and we can then discuss the reasons.  Nothing factual will ever convince you that Morne is not an international level flyhalf - even the BS performance in Perth last year did not convince you of that.

Remember how you crawled and sneaked the last time you predicted a loss, should Morne play? Actually, IIRC, your prediction was that unless Morne gets injured early, we had  no chance of winning?

What was the story again, Moz?

We have now played Australia away in 3 years and won 1 game with Morne at flyhalf.  We played them at home the same number of times and beat them 3 out of 3 without Morne at flyhalf.  That is the long and the short of it Dofdoos.
If we win on Saturday every reasonable person will rejoice - but even the bookies think that would not be possible because of dud selections of Meyer - and the worst duds will be Morne Steyn and Victor Matfield - the one destro ying the backline - the other the Tight 5.

I would actually have liked to see 30 - 40 mins of Morne in last week's game.  HP is not the finished article yet. The missed kicks aside,  he looked nervous and hesitant for most of the game and couldn't settle in till the last 20.  Lambs barely played this year,  so we need to know where we stand with Morne. Won't mind him getting some time on the field Saturday either.

After years of watching Morne destroying the Springbok backline and losing games for the Springboks I can only say - if Morne is an international flyhalf the moon is made of green cheese.
ESPN is 100% bout Morne Steyn and I put that extract on this site - but the dolts still fall for him.   Her is a one-dimensional player and that is hi kicking at goal.   For the rest he failed in all other aspects of flyhalf play.  He was the one player boo-ed in a test because he was so deficient the public could not take it anymore.   He became the bench player of his club and only play as a starter when a superior youngster is not available.
That shows what his Club thinks of his ability as a flyhalf- yet some members on this site everyone at his club and most members on this site is wrong.   But then they also think that Francois Steyn is a center and Victor Matfield is a lock - so what else can one aspect from them?
They have conveniently forgotten that players let us down in the past and missed to even mention the fact who was the worst down-letters of them all.  It is not possible to discuss Morne with the people who thinks he is supreme - because they think that 90% of the flyhalf's function is to kick balls and the rest of the backline is just filling up the 15 players to be in the backline and must only be able to serve as tackling dummies.
One must give up discussing anything with the dolts involved.   If Morne is selected and the backline flops as a result - while the Springboks lose the match on Saturday I hope they will admit that their arguments have been BS - but in such an event they will - like happened in Perth last year - just find a dud excuse for Morne and continues with their rank idiocy.

Ceradunce aka Dofdoos
Was the test in Perth last year - lost because of Morne Steyn - BS or did it take place?
Did your fellow idiot not wrote on this site that 90% of the function of a flyhalf is kicking balls?   Did he not say that the function of backline players is to defend only and always negated any other function of backline players?
This is exactly what I expected the response to be from idiots who is stuck in a belief that rugby is for 10 players only and that the rest of the team is meaningless and only there because the team is supposed to have 15 players on the field of play.
That kind of tunnel thinking reflects w hat idiots can only come up with - so happy Idiots Day to you.

Warra warra warra. Same tune over and over. And then you accuse others of harping in about certain games and incidents. You are like a little boy with a favourite toy.

Not wara wara - but stating factual situations - but it went straight over your head because you have no answers and keep repeating BS in droves about your wonderful Morne.  If he is starting at flyhalf we can kiss winning goodbye  and we can discuss the issue after the game on Saturday.  Lets hope Morne is out - because otherwise we will have nothing to celebrate Saturday.
In the meantime you are advised to start finding reasons  immediately why Morne is NOT to blame for the inevitable disaster since it would not be possible to dream up enough reasons to protect Morne after the game.

Mike,  to be fair,  the last time any team in the world put together 3 wins in a row against NZ, Mornè was 10 and Fat Fransie was 15.  Snorre was the coach,  Gold was one of the assistants... and if you wanna believe the popular theories,  it was Matfield and John Smit that did the actual coaching.  Bizarre???
