Welsh heads dropped after that period. Glad we wont be facing Australia in the 1/4s but will we be able to defend our line as well as Aussies did.

great defensive effort by the aussies,..... but the Welsh were really poor on attack,....... they refused to open the game,..... may be coz they have many backline players injured?..... and Liam Williams and Roberts went off limping,..... SA is going to play against some 4th and 5th choice players
aussies were dominated in the second half,..... they are beatable,..... and let see what happens with Folau and Poc0ck, they seemed injured,...... without both of them the aussies cannot win this WC

Huge relief for Oz as they now have a chance to make the semis! Wales missing too much quality in backline.
Will probably be meeting the Frogs in the quarters?

I can't wait to watch the game later. Sounds like it had the intensity of the final. I would also like to see how Wales are playing, have a look at what will be coming our way.
Basque, very much agreed on Australia being beatable. More specifically Giteau is there for the taking and Folau hasn't been playing well all year. England managed to split them down the middle quite a few times, and I will be interested to see how Wales did against them.

Relax Fox it would take us playing like we did against the blossums to lose against Wales. As long as the very pap and useless matfiled is kept out of the team and the world's top lock combo start we should be just fine.

Worth watching Fox, so enjoy
Agreed though, Wales should definitely have gone wide on multiple occasions, and this is why they lost, this was their game.

That's not where our weaknesses lie. A centre pairing who have not been able to stand up to the better teams this year. Have not done very much on attack, especially from 12. As we saw from the Lions series, one weak link is all it takes to ruin an otherwise flawless performance. Lamebie on the bench would be a bigger worry than Vic, that's for damn sure! But as I say, Wales have the game to beat the Boks.

With Long-arms Lood doing his "wing-span" "tackles" the boks will have little chance. Then you throw in de Allende "hamstering runs" & the Bok problems are compounded.

At least he's putting in the effort

Another very good RWC game, Wales have given us a few so far but unfortunately came up short this time. Oz played fantastic defence.
