To the Stormers? If Jantjies couldn't cope, neither will Goosen. Goosen is more fragile, is less courageous, more passive, has worse technique on defence and has inferior decision making skills. Would be a gigas mistakus. But could maybe be a good fullback.

I got Barry right, even posted some footage. But you, like Michael, don't believe your eyes. So that's one to me, and zero to you. Minus 1 in fact; you fell for the Jean at 10 nonsense.
I got Jean at 12 right.
I got Lambie at 10 right, twice right predicting him a 15 four years ahead of everyone else.
I got the Watson call right.
I got the Pretorius call right.
I got the Hougaard call right.
I got the Habana call right twice.
I got the Pienaar call right thrice.
I got the Goosen call right twice.
I got the Smit at 3 call right.
I got the Brussow call right.
I got the Reinach call right.
I got the Du Preez call right.
I got the Bekker call right.
I got the Spies call right twice.
I got the Juan call right.
I got the Frans call right thrice.
I got the Jacobs call right.
I got the de Jongh at 12 call right.
I got the Duane call right.
I got the Strauss call right.
I got the Jantjies call right.
I got the JJ call right.
I got the Kirchner call right.
I got the Aplon call right.
I got the JP at 13 call right.
I got the Russel at 10 call right.
I got the Percy at 10, 13 and 15 call right.
I got the Dean Hall call right.
I got the Krige call right.
I got the Butch at 12 call right.
I got the Van Straaten at 10 and 12 call right.
I got the Skinstad WC call right.
These are to name but a few.

Truth be told Dave retired Habana and JDV a few years ago, JDV went onto play some of his best rugga soon after. Habana is still our best wing even though he's in the twilight of his career......deny it all you wnt but it's the truth.

Denny, Dave retired Habana in 2008. That's dangerously close to ten years ago. But here are some of his picks:
Murry, Cooper (AUS), Mostert, Watson, Jean at 10 and 13, Lambie, Goosen, Jantjies, DA, Julies, anti-Du Preez pre 2007 WC, anti-Habana post 2007 , Frans at 10 and 15, Pretorius, Pienaar at 15, Reinach, Olivier, Nokwe, JP at 13, Mapoe at 13, JJ at 13, Taute at 13, Russell at 10, Spies (was going to be an all time greatest Bok! LMAO! Turns his back as soon as Spies is an improved player), Malherbe, Kruger (3), Greyling, Hargreaves, Mvovo, Kankowski, Bekker, Serfontein, Josh Strauss...
... the list goes on and on and on. I couldn't even begin to recount the endless lists of juniors that have flunked or disappeared even before they'd been seen. So many tragedies it reads like a mortuary list!

De Wet Barry was very ordinary. Very pedestrian player with no speed.
As for Goosen I am hoping he makes his way to Cape Town for sure. Clearly the lad is working to get himself released so he can have the profound honour of becoming a Stormer.
Imagine trying to get along with a bunch of Frogs!

Shark, he did not specify what he got right. He also said he got Jean right, but he always maintained that Jean was a wing and a desaster at 12. Up until earlier this week Eben was a loafer suited for the bench at best....and wait for it.....Oupa was better than Louw, Richie and the Allblacks at the breakdown...to name a few.

You can't establish what he means. All his previous calls are either for or against all the players in his list. He either had it right about them that they were (a) good or (b) rubbish. He does not say in the list above. So, unless you can recall all his opinions on those players for the last 4 years, that list means blue sweet FA!

Please man, LeTwat is just listing the names of every player he knows and claiming that he once made a right call about that player. What a steaming pile of horseshit!
The truth is, LeTwat is the biggest idiot and the least rugby-savvy poster on this board. This is the same drooling halfwit who reckons Israel Folau is a donkey and Zane Kirchner is an international superstar. I'm not making that up . . . just ask him. He also reckons Richie McCaw was never one of the world's top 5 fetchers at any stage of his career.
LeTwat is so far up his own arse that even now he would list those as two calls he got "right" . . . which tells you how much credibility you can give to all his other laughable "right" calls.

Rooispeck still smarting after his pummeling earlier in the week. Let me put your dummy back in your mouth, sit you down in your crib and set you straight.
Israel Folau: I stated he is a good playmaker who is unfortunately too slow for the back three. He was subsequently burned on defence several times in 2013, some of which resulted in tries. Habana and Savea in particular went looking for him. He also can't kick, so if you kick at him, he has to run it back. In 2013 he repeatedly got trapped and isolated in his 22 or just outside of it trying to run it back, which resulted in penalties or costly turnovers. A back three who cannot kick allows the defence to press hard and fast! In 2014 he made n effort to kick more, but was not very successful; do recount the five kicks he made in Perth where he set-up a Bok lineout on the Aussie 22m line each and every time because he could not clear his lines! These things do not constitute a success at fullback, but serious vulnerabilities that have been successfully preyed upon by both New Zealand and South Africa in particular.
Kirchner: Kirchner was statistically our best fullback in 2010, averaging something in the region of 50-70 meters run whilst beating defenders. That far eclipsing Aplon at any stage of his test career, and bettering Frans with ease as well as Lambie. He was criticized chiefly for a Dagg try where Spies and another defender slipped off the tackle and left Kirchner a sitting duck against three attackers right on his try line. But was in fact very good, among the better backs that year. He even had a very strong showing at 13 against Ireland! In 2012-2013 he was again very good, in 2013 Kirchner was one of the key parts of our attacking game. But seeing as you know so much about rugby (like your gaff regarding the Reds try and Frans and the role of the 10!!! LMAO) you would have understood which patterns the Boks were running, what plays they used and how Kirchner was being utilized within those systems. But you don't, so you are unarmed in this battle. As per me saying he was a superstar? I did not say that. I have said that the SH fullbacks are inferior to the best of the NH, I have stated Dagg has been the best 15 in the SH since 2010. I fully endorsed Willie after last years improved showing. I have said that Kirchner is a very good fullback, and offers alot, particularly a contrast to Willie as a more direct physical and flatter runner. I even stated that I would have Lambie ahead of all others against New Zealand and noted how the trio of Lambie, Willie and Kirchner cover all tactical and strategic application at 15.
You see what happens when you do not get your facts right? You look like a bit of a bint.
Now to my references, if you would like an elaboration on the specifics I could provide that. But I felt little desire to extend what was an already long post into a novelette.
PS: I did get those two right . Something confirmed by the three Australian articles on Cooper and Folau! Oh dear! Better luck next time, 'Reach-Around' Rooi.

Rooi, Card is acactually very knowledgeable about the game in general, but he has a few blind spots when it comes to certain players, and that actually spoils some of his good arguments. The fact that he is amongst the clan who decided to take Mike on, got the conversation stuck on those players. I see no end to the spiral....Yes I know you are going to LOTFLYAO at this comment, go ahead...

Rooi, I have schooled you with ease. You couldn't even deduce the Reds Timani try, a simple cut pass with Timani targetting the gap between JP and Frans because JP was lagging behind and left an opening. You couldn't even understand which attacker was which defenders man. And then you have the gall to tell me I am the least knowledgeable? LMAO!!! I have noticed a trend for many years, the posters who know the least about the game speak less about the game and instead like to tell their superiors that they know nothing instead of showing them they don't by demonstrating a superior understanding of the topic. You fall cleanly into that demographic.

A very angry fellow, bi tter to the core. Does the booze help? Drink yourself into a stupor to forget your niggling insecurities for just a brief moment of your wasted drawn out little life? It must anger you even more to know that when I am away from this board your atavistic chest beatings are all but forgotten. Yes, your flaccid verbal assault is nothing more to me than the chaotic ramblings of a deeply depressed forgotten man, externalizing his own inadequacies and fears onto others. Good luck and goodbye Rooi. I will enjoy my own life and will leave you to stew in your juices.
