Boks dominated all the stats as we saw.
If this team gets their attacking plan right it could be very good.We have the young guns to take over Bok spots from the older guys and scrummies like Faf who are very dynamic.
Of course had Pollard maintained his first half kicking the score would have been more comfortable.

Well we made it thanks to a bit of Vermeulen/Du Preez magic at a crucial time when the Boks were starting to unravel and sinking into desperation. Well done boys. If we turn over as much possession as we did today against a side with actual attacking clout though, we'll be toast.

We also seem to be overplaying Burger as first receiver. I would prefer Burger to run off someone like Vermeulen as well- where it will be less successful, or sometimes use Schalk as a decoy. Just something to shake it up a bit

Yeah we're way too predictable and static, that's why Wales starting turning us over like clockwork. So easy to target and isolate the carrier when you know there's no chance of the ball going anywhere other than the contact.

There can be little doubt Wales would have beaten the wee abs. T ackled them out of the game and dominanted their pack?

Vermuelen has played better in the 2nd half of both games so he does not look to be at his best just yet
