But, in the end this will die down and the evil spirits will have been satisfied. All participants will remain. For a period things will plod along and then the cycle will repeat itself. In the meantime more posters will be drawn in, the rugby debate will be richer and the site will retain it's vibe. Personally I wish these clashes could be kept at an ideas level, with much less foul language. But who am I to judge....it'sa free board and therin lies it's charm.

Could be worse ,I got booted from the Guardian for having the temerity to say that a female reporter who wrote some stupid story trying to liken returning soldiers from Afghanistan to the boozed up english RWC team ,had no idea about either culture .And I got booted a 2nd time for replying to a racist wobblies fan rantings for saying his "Butt Hurt " !!!

Dear Becs, I know you would like to wack a few of us with your deadly umbrella but it is good to mix a spot of humour, ridicle into sport to give it flavour. We've become too stressed and boringly serious on outside things we know so little about and cannot change. Laughter is good medicine, we used to have it but this forum is becoming so bland. We need the spice, it's rather like having a good stew without salt.
