Paris Burning
" A series of unprecedented attacks on popular night spots killed more than 100 people in the deadliest violence to strike France since WWII, officials said. President Francois Hollande condemned it as a terrorist attack and pledged that France would stand firm against its foes.
The worst carnage was at a concert hall hosting an American rock band, where scores of people were held hostage and attackers hurled explosives at their captives. Police who stormed the building, killing two attackers, encountered a bloody scene of horror inside.
Hollande declared a state of emergency and announced that he was closing the country's borders. The violence spread fear through the city and exceeded the horrors of the Charlie Hebdo attack just 10 months ago.
Paris police officials said security officials had launched an assault on the concert hall, killing at least two attackers. One described "carnage" inside the building, saying the attackers tossed explosives at the hostages.
In addition to the deaths at the concert hall, a police official said 11 people were killed in a Paris restaurant in the 10th arrondissement and other officials said at least three people died when bombs went off outside a stadium.
All of the officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to be publicly named in the quickly moving investigation.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attacks, and no clear picture of how many attackers were involved and if any were on the run. Jihadists on Twitter immediately praised the attack and criticised France's military operations against Islamic State extremists.
Hollande, who had to be evacuated from the stadium when the bombs went off outside, said in a televised address that the nation would stand firm and united.
"This is a terrible ordeal that again assails us," he said. "We know where it comes from, who these criminals are, who these terrorists are."
US President Barack Obama, speaking to reporters in Washington, called the attacks on Paris "outrageous attempt to terrorise innocent civilians" and vowed to do whatever it takes to help bring the perpetrators to justice. He called the attacks a "heartbreaking situation" and an "attack on all of humanity".
Earlier Friday, two explosions were heard outside the Stade de France stadium north of Paris during a France-Germany friendly football match. A police union official said there were two suicide attacks and a bombing that killed at least three people.
The official, Gregory Goupil of the Alliance Police Nationale, whose region includes the area of the stadium, said explosions went off simultaneously near two entrances and a McDonalds.
An Associated Press reporter in the stadium on Friday night heard two explosions loud enough to penetrate the sounds of cheering fans. Sirens were immediately heard, and a helicopter was circling overhead.
The attack comes as France has heightened security measures ahead of a major global climate conference that starts in two weeks, out of fear of violent protests and potential attacks. Hollande canceled a planned trip to this weekend's G-20 summit in Turkey, which was to focus in large part on growing fears of attacks carried out by extremists.
Emilio Macchio, from Ravenna, Italy, was at the Carillon restaurant that was targeted, having a beer on the sidewalk, when the shooting started. He said he didn't see any gunmen or victims, but hid behind a corner, then ran away.
"It sounded like fireworks," he said.
France has been on edge since January, when satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo was attacked, which had run cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad, and a kosher grocery. Twenty people died, including the three attackers. The Charlie Hebdo attackers claimed links to extremists in Yemen, while the kosher market attacker claimed ties to ISIS.
This time, they targeted young people enjoying a rock concert and ordinary city residents enjoying a Friday night out.
One of at least two restaurants targeted on Friday, Le Carillon, is in the same general neighborhood as the Charlie Hebdo offices, as is the Bataclan, among the best-known venues in eastern Paris, near the trendy Oberkampf area known for a vibrant nightlife. The California-based band Eagles of Death Metal was scheduled to play there on Friday night.
The country has seen several smaller-scale attacks or attempts since, including an incident on a high-speed train in August in which American travellers thwarted an attempted attack by a heavily armed man.
France's military is bombing ISIS targets in Syria and Iraq and fighting extremists in Africa, and extremist groups have frequently threatened France in the past.
French authorities are particularly concerned about the threat from hundreds of French Islamic radicals who have travelled to Syria and returned home with skills to stage violence.
Though who was responsible for Friday night's violence remained a mystery, the Islamic State is "clearly the name at the top of everyone's list," Brian Michael Jenkins, a terrorism expert and senior adviser to the president of RAND Corp, said.
Jenkins said the tactic used — "multiple attackers in coordinated attacks at multiple locations" — echoed recommendations published in extremist group's online magazine, Dabbiq, over the summer.
"The big question on everyone's mind is, were these attackers, if they turn out to be connected to one of the groups in Syria, were they homegrown terrorists or were they returning fighters from having served" with the Islamic State group, Jenkins said. "That will be a huge question."
This is the result of extreme liberalism in politics letting in millions of foreigners into countries and allowing them to preach their deadly assault on the culture of Europe.
Weak leaders are the norm in Europe and the US - the leading democracies in the world. They would be too weak to take drastic action against the attackers,
I have been to Paris a number of times and my heart bleeds for that wonderful city.
My heart goes to these people...the world's a mess. Those of us that live in more secure enviroments just don't know or understand the devastation it does to a society...awful.
The horror is that it's not going to get better...we might have missed WW2 in our generation but in a way terrorism is the ugliest thing man can do to his fellow human beings.
Gun shots and explosions are still taking place...there was a friendly soccer match at the stadium between France and Germany and the explosions and shots were heard there.
La Belle Equipe...19 people were killed outside a bar on Rue de Charonne.
At Petit Cambodge...14 were killed at restaurant
and on Avenue de la Republique 4 were killed.
The answer for France is Marine Le Pen the National front leader who is the only leader who appreciates the magnitude of the threat.muslim population growth is such that they will form majorities in some European countries in the forseeable future.Answer is ship them all out as fast as possible.Expect though the liberals to say that ists only a smal fanatical elelment. Its all because of whats going on in middel east etc.The plain facts are that the immigrants must be kicked out now if Euroupe is to survive. The big plan here is to conquer Europe by immigration and having large familes. You have the enemy in the midst of you able to strike at any time.
Europe is in mortal danger.
People are slowly learning what Islam is about. Its staggering that it is so slow .Thanks Wardad you have it spot on. One is dealing with indoctrinated lunatics.
The West has messed up badly in the Middle East and Northern Africa since 2000. Attacking the countries like Iraq and Libya caused a vacuum that is being exploited by the bad elements.
What has happened in Europe is that the doors were open to refugees and economic migrants, However, they should have been screened properly - which was never done. I can remember in the 1950's and 1970's millions of Turks and Muslims from the then Yugoslavia and Turkey worked in Germany and Austria - but there was not the rubbish experienced at present.
The present situation is seriously problematic - there is no way that the problem is not easy for the local communities. There are indeed genuine refugees who turns out to be good citizens - but among the true refugees there are no doubt plants of ISI and Al Queda that will use the opportunity to get into Western Europe.
Some countries are doing better in absorbing migrants - for instance in the Netherlands Queen Maxima is in charge of a body dealing specifically with integration of foreign settlers in the country. In countries like the UK and France the settler communities were never integrated and that remains a major problem at present. In the settler community the lunatics get into mosques and convert some younger people to get involved in terrorism.
Get this straight - I am not a person that believe Islam is a religion that preach the violence that is being practiced at present by extremist elements. I think these elements use religion to obtain supporters and that is nothing new - it was used for centuries by all religions.
I can see serious complications for the present Governments in Europe. There are right wing parties in countries that is going to get the upper hand sooner rather than later.
They will never integrate save on leaving the muslim faith - and here the consequences are very serious.
Do yourself a favour and google jihard and go and read what the koran says about it. Go and research what the koran says about the treatment of non muslims. This is what is taught in the mosques. Europe should close all mosques down and remove all immigrants if they wish to survive. You cannot negoitiate with these people as Israel has learnt. The world is waking up but far too slowly. Obama has been a disaster.
Wake up Mike.
I'm quite emotional about this...my late gran was born in Paris, my sister in law is French and I'm fond of this nation.
I think that you are welcome to your ideas - but i do not share a concept of hatred of people because of their religious beliefs. I stated before that there are elements in the Muslim community who are extremists and murderers - but we have had that tye of thing for centuries in all religious groups and churches.
I am strongly opposed to terrorism in any form and the people involved should eb wiped off the face of the earth. They actually murder and destroy their own people than they do to others.
I strongly stated in the past that the Western Countries and more specifically the US and UK with their interference in the Middle East and North Africa caused the hiatus we face at present. If they want to fight a war - go in and kill the source - not try a type of proxy war that is being practiced at present.
My heart bleed for the French - in future it will also be Germany and the UK.
I understand your hurt in this regard and your family members must hurt badly.
I am glad the rugby world cup is finished - I thought the extremists would target that. However, the best thing seems to avoid large public gatherings - it may be dangerous,
By the way - Cameron is forecasting an Indian Prime Minister for the UK and Merkel is turned soft on issues as well - time for a serious change is the weak bleeding hearts set-up that Europe has become.
It reminds me of what Tolstoy wrote in War and Peace:-
"One used to have to be a German - now one must dance with Tatavinova and Mada me Kwudener, and wead Ecka'tshausen and the bwethen. Oh, they should let that fine fellow Bonaparte loose - he would knock all this nonsense out of them".
Hopefully a new Napoleon will emerge that will knock the nonsense out of the present leaders in Europe.
Yup, France needs Bonapartes and de Gaulles, England Churchills,Victorias' and Thatchers, America, Eisenhowers and Rooseveldts, Russia...well dare I say it...at least he's strong and solid...whether you trust him in the west or not...he is tough, direct and clear...leave us alone and don't f... with us...get your own house in order first.
You left out Reagen - if he was president now things would have been much better.
Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing...
but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)" (Translation is from the Noble Quran) The verse prior to this (190) refers to "fighting for the cause of Allah those who fight you" leading some to believe that the entire passage refers to a defensive war in which Muslims are defending their homes and families. The historical context of this passage is not defensive warfare, however, since Muhammad and his Muslims had just relocated to Medina and were notunder attack by their Meccan adversaries. In fact, the verses urge offensive warfare, in that Muslims are to drive Meccans out of their own city (which they later did). Verse 190 thus means to fight those who offer resistance to Allah's rule (ie. Muslim conquest). The use of the word "persecution" by some Muslim translators is disingenuous (the actual Arabic words for persecution - "idtihad" - and oppression - a variation of "z-l-m" - do not appear in the verse). The word used instead, "fitna", can mean disbelief, or the disorder that results from unbelief or temptation. This is certainly what is meant in this context since the violence is explicitly commissioned "until religion is for Allah" - ie. unbelievers desist in their unbelief.
Quran (2:244) - "Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah Heareth and knoweth all things."
Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not." Not only does this verse establish that violence can be virtuous, but it also contradicts the myth that fighting is intended only in self-defense, since the audience was obviously not under attack at the time. From the Hadith, we know that this verse was narrated at a time that Muhammad was actually trying to motivate his people into raiding merchant caravans for loot.
Quran (3:56) - "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help."
Quran (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority". This speaks directly of polytheists, yet it also includes Christians, since they believe in the Trinity (ie. what Muhammad incorrectly believed to be 'joining companions to Allah').
Quran (4:74) - "Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward." The martyrs of Islam are unlike the early Christians, who were led meekly to the slaughter. These Muslims are killed in battle as they attempt to inflict death and destruction for the cause of Allah. This is the theological basis for today's suicide bombers.
Quran (4:76) - "Those who believe fight in the cause of Allah…"
Quran (4:89) - "They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks."
Quran (4:95) - "Not equal are those of the believers who sit (at home), except those who are disabled (by injury or are blind or lame, etc.), and those who strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred in grades those who strive hard and fight with their wealth and their lives above those who sit (at home). Unto each, Allah has promised good (Paradise), but Allah has preferred those who strive hard and fight, above those who sit (at home) by a huge reward " This passage criticizes "peaceful" Muslims who do not join in the violence, letting them know that they are less worthy in Allah's eyes. It also demolishes the modern myth that "Jihad" doesn't mean holy war in the Quran, but rather a spiritual struggle. Not only is this Arabic word (mujahiduna) used in this passage, but it is clearly not referring to anything spiritual, since the physically disabled are given exemption. (The Hadith reveals the context of the passage to be in response to a blind man's protest that he is unable to engage in Jihad, which would not make sense if it meant an internal struggle). According to the verse, Allah will allow the disabled into Paradise, but will provide a larger reward to those who are able to kill others in his cause.
Quran (4:104) - "And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain..." Is pursuing an injured and retreating enemy really an act of self-defense?
Quran (5:33) - "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement"
Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them" No reasonable person would interpret this to mean a spiritual struggle.
Quran (8:15) - "O ye who believe! When ye meet those who disbelieve in battle, turn not your backs to them. (16)Whoso on that day turneth his back to them, unless maneuvering for battle or intent to join a company, he truly hath incurred wrath from Allah, and his habitation will be hell, a hapless journey's end."
Quran (8:39) - "And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion should be only for Allah" Some translations interpret "fitna" as "persecution", but the traditional understanding of this word is not supported by the historical context (See notes for 2:193). The Meccans were simply refusing Muhammad access to their city during Haj. Other Muslims were allowed to travel there - just not as an armed group, since Muhammad had declared war on Mecca prior to his eviction. The Meccans were also acting in defense of their religion, since it was Muhammad's intention to destroy their idols and establish Islam by force (which he later did). Hence the critical part of this verse is to fight until "religion is only for Allah", meaning that the true justification of violence was the unbelief of the opposition. According to the Sira (Ibn Ishaq/Hisham 324) Muhammad further explains that "Allah must have no rivals."
Quran (8:57) - "If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember."
Quran (8:67) - "It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he had made a great slaughter in the land..."
Quran (8:59-60) - "And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah's Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape. Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy."
Quran (8:65) - "O Prophet, exhort the believers to fight..."
Quran (9:5) - "So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them." According to this verse, the best way of staying safe from Muslim violence is to convert to Islam (prayer (salat) and the poor tax (zakat) are among the religion's Five Pillars). This popular claim that the Quran only inspires violence within the context of self-defense is seriously challenged by this passage as well, since the Muslims to whom it was written were obviously not under attack. Had they been, then there would have been no waiting period (earlier verses make it a duty for Muslims to fight in self-defense, even during the sacred months). The historical context is Mecca after the idolaters were subjugated by Muhammad and posed no threat. Once the Muslims had power, they violently evicted those unbelievers who would not convert.
Quran (9:14) - "Fight against them so that Allah will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people."Humiliating and hurting non-believers not only has the blessing of Allah, but it is ordered as a means of carrying out his punishment and even "healing" the hearts of Muslims.
Quran (9:20) - "Those who believe, and have left their homes and striven with their wealth and their lives in Allah's way are of much greater worth in Allah's sight. These are they who are triumphant." The Arabic word interpreted as "striving" in this verse is the same root as "Jihad". The context is obviously holy war.
Quran (9:29) - "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." "People of the Book" refers to Christians and Jews. According to this verse, they are to be violently subjugated, with the sole justification being their religious status. Verse 9:33 tells Muslims that Allah has charted them to make Islam "superior over all religions." This chapter was one of the final "revelations" from Allah and it set in motion the tenacious military expansion, in which Muhammad's companions managed to conquer two-thirds of the Christian world in the next 100 years. Islam is intended to dominate all other people and faiths.
Quran (9:30) - "And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!"
Quran (9:38-39) - "O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter? But little is the comfort of this life, as compared with the Hereafter. Unless ye go forth, He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place." This is a warning to those who refuse to fight, that they will be punished with Hell.
Quran (9:41) - "Go forth, light-armed and heavy-armed, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the way of Allah! That is best for you if ye but knew." See also the verse that follows (9:42) - "If there had been immediate gain (in sight), and the journey easy, they would (all) without doubt have followed thee, but the distance was long, (and weighed) on them" This contradicts the myth that Muslims are to fight only in self-defense, since the wording implies that battle will be waged a long distance from home (in another country and on Christian soil, in this case, according to the historians).
Quran (9:73) - "O Prophet! strive hard against the unbelievers and the hypocrites and be unyielding to them; and their abode is hell, and evil is the destination." Dehumanizing those who reject Islam, by reminding Muslims that unbelievers are merely firewood for Hell, makes it easier to justify slaughter. It also explains why today's devout Muslims have little regard for those outside the faith.
Quran (9:88) - "But the Messenger, and those who believe with him, strive and fight with their wealth and their persons: for them are (all) good things: and it is they who will prosper."
Quran (9:111) - "Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons and their goods; for theirs (in return) is the garden (of Paradise): they fight in His cause, and slay and are slain: a promise binding on Him in truth, through the Law, the Gospel, and the Quran: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme." How does the Quran define a true believer?
Quran (9:123) - "O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness."
Quran (17:16) - "And when We wish to destroy a town, We send Our commandment to the people of it who lead easy lives, but they transgress therein; thus the word proves true against it, so We destroy it with utter destruction." Note that the crime is moral transgression, and the punishment is "utter destruction." (Before ordering the 9/11 attacks, Osama bin Laden first issued Americans an invitation to Islam).
Quran (18:65-81) - This parable lays the theological groundwork for honor killings, in which a family member is murdered because they brought shame to the family, either through apostasy or perceived moral indiscretion. The story (which is not found in any Jewish or Christian source) tells of Moses encountering a man with "special knowledge" who does things which don't seem to make sense on the surface, but are then justified according to later explanation. One such action is to murder a youth for no apparent reason (74). However, the wise man later explains that it was feared that the boy would "grieve" his parents by "disobedience and ingratitude." He was killed so that Allah could provide them a 'better' son. (Note: This is one reason why honor killing is sanctioned by Sharia. Reliance of the Traveler (Umdat al-Saliq) says that punishment for murder is not applicable when a parent or grandparent kills their offspring (o.1.1-2).)
Quran (21:44) - "We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win?"
Quran (25:52) - "Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness..." "Strive against" is Jihad - obviously not in the personal context. It's also significant to point out that this is a Meccan verse.
Quran (33:60-62) - "If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the alarmists in the city do not cease, We verily shall urge thee on against them, then they will be your neighbors in it but a little while. Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter." This passage sanctions the slaughter (rendered "merciless" and "horrible murder" in other translations) against three groups: Hypocrites (Muslims who refuse to "fight in the way of Allah" (3:167) and hence don't act as Muslims should), those with "diseased hearts" (which include Jews and Christians 5:51-52), and "alarmists" or "agitators who include those who merely speak out against Islam, according to Muhammad's biographers. It is worth noting that the victims are to be sought out by Muslims, which is what today's terrorists do. If this passage is meant merely to apply to the city of Medina, then it is unclear why it is included in Allah's eternal word to Muslim generations.
Quran (47:3-4) - "Those who disbelieve follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord... So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah's Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives)... If it had been Allah's Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost." Those who reject Allah are to be killed in Jihad. The wounded are to be held captive for ransom. The only reason Allah doesn't do the dirty work himself is to to test the faithfulness of Muslims. Those who kill pass the test.
Quran (47:35) - "Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost (Shakir: "have the upper hand") for Allah is with you,"
Quran (48:17) - "There is no blame for the blind, nor is there blame for the lame, nor is there blame for the sick (that they go not forth to war). And whoso obeyeth Allah and His messenger, He will make him enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow; and whoso turneth back, him will He punish with a painful doom." Contemporary apologists sometimes claim that Jihad means 'spiritual struggle.' Is so, then why are the blind, lame and sick exempted? This verse also says that those who do not fight will suffer torment in hell.
Quran (48:29) - "Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard (ruthless) against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves" Islam is not about treating everyone equally. This verse tells Muslims that there are two very distinct standards that are applied based on religious status. Also the word used for 'hard' or 'ruthless' in this verse shares the same root as the word translated as 'painful' or severe' to describe Hell in over 25 other verses including 65:10, 40:46 and 50:26..
Quran (61:4) - "Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way" Religion of Peace, indeed! The verse explicitly refers to "battle array" meaning that it is speaking of physical conflict. This is followed by (61:9): "He it is who has sent His Messenger (Mohammed) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam) to make it victorious over all religions even though the infidels may resist." (See next verse, below). Infidels who resist Islamic rule are to be fought.
Quran (61:10-12) - "O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment. That you believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad ), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know! (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwelling in Gardens of 'Adn - Eternity ['Adn (Edn) Paradise], that is indeed the great success." This verse refers to physical battle in order to make Islam victorious over other religions (see above). It uses the Arabic word, Jihad.
Quran (66:9) - "O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be stern with them. Hell will be their home, a hapless journey's end." The root word of "Jihad" is used again here. The context is clearly holy war, and the scope of violence is broadened to include "hypocrites" - those who call themselves Muslims but do not act as such.

Breitbart, by Pamela Geller, Nov. 13, 2015:
High powered weapons, suicide bombers and grenades. This is war.
“Allahu akbar!” That all-too-familiar battle cry kicked off six Islamic acts of war on the people of France. Muslims set off on a murderous rampage in Paris Friday night, killing at least 166, including at least 100 concertgoers at a music hall featuring an American rock band. The death toll spread across six sites in the city.
Devout Muslims were celebrating the attacks on social media.
One of the apprehended jihadists reportedly stated, “I am from the Islamic State.” Hundreds of thousands of these savages have invaded the continent.
“Terrorist attacks of an unprecedented magnitude are in play in Paris. It’s horror,” French President François Hollande said. “We have mobilized all forces possible to neutralize the terrorists.”
At the concert hall, the merciless jihadis murdered their hostages one by one, as the non-Muslims begged for the lives of their loved ones. Paris police said that the siege ended when French forces killed at least two of the jihad murderers inside the hall.
Hollande ordered a state of emergency in Paris. He also closed the country’s borders. Too little, too late. After the Charlie Hebdo massacre and the subsequent murders at aJewish grocery in Paris in January, what more warning did Hollande need?
The massacre took place at several different locations in Paris — near the site of the massacre of Muhammad cartoonists at the Charlie Hebdo offices in January. The jihadis focused on what would be prestige targets for them. They murdered several people in a restaurant, as well as at the concert hall. Some were killed in suicide bombings – a hallmark of jihad attacks. There was another bombing near the Stade de France, north of Paris.
One eyewitness said: “I’ve seen two terrorists from my point of view with AK-47s entering the concert room and firing randomly into the crowd. People yelled and screamed.” This witness said that the Muslim murderers calmly reloaded their weapons, then began killing again: “It lasted for 10 minutes. 10 minutes. 10 horrific minutes where everyone was on the floor covering their heads. We heard so many gunshots. And the terrorists were very calm…and they reloaded three to four times their weapons.” This recalls the Allah-worshiping young man who stabbed four people at the University of California Merced last week.
The witness added:
They didn’t shout anything. They didn’t say anything. They were in masks. They were wearing black clothes… And they were shooting at people on the floor. And I was luckily at the top of the stage. The front of the stage. So people tried to escape…and I found an exit when the terrorists reloaded their guns. And I climbed on the stage and we found an exit. And when I went on the streets I see 20 to 25 bodies lying on the floor. And people were very badly injured with gunshot wounds.
Most chillingly of all, the witness said: “I have some friends who are still inside… who are hiding… they are hiding in some kind of room in the dark. They text me and they are very afraid.”
Despite all this horror, the European Union elites are bringing into Europe millions of these savages. I have warned for years about this coming jihad. For doing so, I was attacked, smeared, and marginalized. We were right about it all, and yet still my colleagues and I are blacklisted. Hundreds are dead, and the war has just begun. We did everything in our power to save lives. But the political, media, and academic elites aligned with the savages. And now hundreds more are dead in Paris — and you ain’t seen nothing yet.
This Paris jihad massacre casts into a new light the desire of New York State Senator Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand to bring 1.5 million Muslim migrants from Syria to New York. Obama wants to accelerate the entry of Syrian refugees into the U.S. I can promise you this: I will lead a march against this woman if she pursues this. All attendees will be required to bring pitchforks and torches. If she wants to kill New York State and bring these jihadis into the U.S., she better be prepared for a knock-down, drag-out fight.
Incredibly, Obama said today that the Islamic State (ISIS) is not getting stronger: “we have contained them.” He is either in an early stage of dementia or he is one of them. I submit that it is the latter. In either case, Americans must be ready: lock and load. It’s not just in Paris, it’s here: Garland, Texas, Chattanooga… yesterday, an Ohio Muslim was arrested for plotting to kill U.S. soldiers and bomb churches and schools.
“I’ll be proud when I shed American blood,” Muslim convert Terrence McNeil said, according to prosecutors. He allegedly posted messages advocating jihad against the United States: “I would gladly take part in an attack on this murderous regime and the people.” This was one of their jihad fighters in the US. And Ohio is crawling with them.
These are not idle threats. This is a world war. I have exposed hundreds of Islamic State social postings which name names and provide addresses and photos of U.S. soldiers here in the States, urging American Muslims to slaughter our boys and girls.
Right now, nothing is being done to stop jihad recruiting in U.S. mosques, even as several hundred young Muslims from the U.S. have gone to wage jihad for the Islamic State. And now they seek to wage jihad here at home.
In the wake of this jihad war in France, terror groups like the Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will hold press conferences that their running dogs in the media will clamor to cover, hand-wringing about a non-existent “fear of reprisals” and “backlash” against innocent Muslims.
And the jihad machine steamrolls on.
The Muslim migrant stream into Europe is a Muslim invasion. Back in February, the Islamic State warned that they would send millions of Muslim fighters into Europe. They have made good on their every pledge. And now the attacks in Paris demonstrate that Europe is at war.
It’s coming here. Stop Muslim migrant immigration. Now.

We have indeed been fortunate here in England, but you do realise Counter-Terrorism smash rings every week and prevent potential attacks from ever happening ? They never stop. One slip up and this is what we will get. But we have a better success rate than France in this respect and long may that continue.
As for the immigration situation, I can't get into that now, but I will if you all wish. The powder keg I have spoken of really is about to ignite
I recall the words of President Theodore Roosevelt who believed no man should be discriminated against because of where he was born, but insisted any immigrant who arrives on our shores should become an American in terms of faith, allegiance and language, “If he tries to keep segregated with men of his own origin and separated from the rest of America, then he isn’t doing his part as an American. We have room for but one soul loyalty, and that is loyalty to the American people.”
Contrast that with the New York scene Daniel Greenfield writes about in Frontpage Magazine,
Walk along Church Avenue and turn east onto McDonald Avenue and you will see where the old standards of working class Brooklyn give way to mosques and grocery stores selling goat meat. Mosques grow like mushrooms in basements, cell phone stores offer easy ways to wire money back to Bangladesh and old men glare at interlopers, especially if they are infidel women. This is where Mohammed Siddiquee settled a dispute the old-fashioned way by beheading his landlord.
A creeping sharia has immigrated into our America and like a cancer is spreading and attempting to take over its “host.” Greenfield notes that New York City has always had its micro communities of culture,
But Islam is not just a culture and the cultures who carry its baggage with them to the old worlds and the new are not toting it along like another ethnic food, a dialect or a national holiday. In Chinatown, Buddhist temples and protestant churches sit side by side and in Latino neighborhoods, Adventist storefront churches and massive Catholic edifices co-exist; along with them can be found synagogues, Hindu and Zoroastrian temples and the whole dizzying array of religious diversity of a port city defined by its swells and tides of immigrants.
As those of us not under the spell of political correctness know, Islam does not coexist. And in its “Al Hijra” views immigration, as Greenfield says, “a form of supremacist manifest destiny to colonize the Dar al-Harb (the non-Islamic world) and subdue it with sheer numbers or sheer force” -– just look at Europe if you need proof.
Greenfield points to Jamaica in Queens, where Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis plotted the mass murder of Americans and the bombing of the Federal Reserve, hoping to “destroy America.”
Greenfield concludes,
At this hour, no one in Little Korea, Little Italy, Little Brazil, Brighton Beach or Koreatown is plotting to destroy America so that his religion can rule the world. That is what sets the Little Bangladeshes, Little Pakistans, and Little Mogadishus apart from every other immigrant group whose dreams for the future are not overshadowed by the iron dream of Islam.
Tragically, US Attorney General Eric Holder is seeking to ban the use of religion and national origin in terrorist investigations, even including instances involving national security. I will say it again, when tolerance becomes a one-way street it leads to cultural suicide. And neighborhood by neighborhood, it is a slow, dripping death. Dear God, have we so forgotten Teddy Roosevelt’s admonition?
A seed must die before it can be planted...the world is puffed up, ducking and diving from the truth ( I used to be exactly like that) but after grace after my own very foolish vanity and love of nature and my fellow man I saw that there has to be something more meaningful and greater than my own experiences and knowledge and the boffins of interllect ( that cannot resolve anything in the world).
True believers are not religious fanatics or even church goers but honest men that have by circumstances have realised that there is more to life than pleasure and accolades but to really love your enemies and help them come to peace with their Creator...i know this is absolutely true because nobody dies peacefully unless they have made their peace with those they have wronged and have acknowledge the divine being that created them and set a solution of repentance for them.
I'm very genuine and care for each one of you...you will probably hate me for this...that in itself is strange but in a nutshell we don't fight against flesh and blood but against forces in the dark world...it is very real...the Eagles group were singing kiss the devil in France before the terror happened
To fully understand what the idiots in charge are doing, Beeno ( and by that I mean Frau Merkel, in the main ), you have to understand what the EU was set up to achieve. It was never just to be a trading agreement, we already had that, it was to destroy our separate countries to create a Federal State, with, guess who, at the helm ?! The easiest way to achieve that is to completely break down societies as we know them, by flooding countries with people so alien to them that everything completely breaks down. Some countries, like Sweden, have already been all but destroyed ( second highest rape figures in the world now, would you believe ? ) The public don't want this influx and we cannot even cope with it if we did want it. As for the danger in terms of terrorism, yes, that too is a huge concern. They have ruined us all
The California rock band Eagles of Death Metal was on stage at a packed Paris nightclub Friday when gunmen stormed in, cut down dozens of fans with automatic weapon fire and held hundreds hostage for hours.
Family members said the band, including singer and guitarist Jesse Hughes, were able to escape the attack at Le Bataclan, one of several that unfolded simultaneously across Paris. But some members of the crew were unaccounted for.
The biggest threat by far, the undisputed threat is the feeling that some among humanity have grown and cultivated, the feeling that they are superior to other men because they can destroy faster, better and bigger.
This feeling has given birth to a deep culture of death that usually paints the least destructive as the ones to get rid of, keeps supporting that the highest rate of consumption of a finite environment is the greatest achievement humanity may hope for.
The threat from puny islam is nothing compared to this threat on humanity.
The destruction of the islam followers will strengthen that part in humanity in their feeling of superiority, ensuring that they keep seeing their ways as the best thing that could have happened to humanity. Once they are finished with muslims, they will look for who and what next to destroy to prove over and over again their superiority.
The final stop for those imbued with that feeling is the complete obliteration of humanity.
Better to keep islam as the biggest threat for the submited minds.
Fact is Islam is not prapred to coexist.Seb I agree its spititual blindness at play. The evidence is overwhelming. Its like Hitlerw mein kampf. He said exactly what he was going to do but nobody believed him. The koran outlines their paln for a world under muslim rule. Non muslim countries dont take thsi seriously. The dont beleive the koran says what it does. Amazing really.Becs Europe has a fight on its hands for its survival. Anyone thinking what has just happened in Paris is horrible must just wait for what is coming. Its just the begining.Islam does not coexist. And in its “Al Hijra” views immigration, as Greenfield says, “a form of supremacist manifest destiny to colonize the Dar al-Harb (the non-Islamic world) and subdue it with sheer numbers or sheer force” -– just look at Europe if you need proof.(Traditionalist take note)
But all western countries are digging their own graves, with their liberal save the world causes.
First take the influx of Muslims flooding into Europe at this time. These politicians do not understand what problems they are creating for our children and grandchildren. All they are concerned about is being re-elected and bowing down to the United Nations stupid policy on refugees.
Sure not all Muslims are bad or fanatics but check this out:
If u have a country like Belgium with a reported Muslim population of around 2 million. Now say 99% of those Muslims are moderate and law abiding it still leaves u with 1% or in real numbers around 20,000 that are fanatics.
In fact it is claimed that Belgium will have a majority of Muslim voters by the year 2020. Now don't worry u say because that is in Belgium....well guess what these Muslims are infiltrating each and every western country while our so called elected leaders are twiddling their thumbs.
Another example is the newly elected government in Canada. The pot smoking PM has opened the doors to 25,000 Muslim refugees before year end and who knows what he will do in his pot induced rational in 2016 and beyond.
Those 25,000 allowed in 2015 will swell to at least triple that once these guys get settled and sponsor their extended families. Then with their birth rate as it is presently the number will explode and before long it will be the majority.
Now most people shrug their shoulders and say that it will not be their problem. That is exactly what the French said back in the 1970's.Parts of Paris resemble downtown Cairo.
I have no issues or problems helping anyone in need but u have to be aware of the hidden agenda.
Why have no other Muslim countries accepted these Muslim brothers........recently I read an article about 1,000,000 tents that are permanently set up in Saudi-Arabia with all the extras required to live comfortably including TV and air conditioning that are standing unoccupied. Now would it not make sense to make this housing facility available to these so called refugees. The Mosque is nearby, they speak the same language, they are accustomed to the weather and most importantly they are safe.
Solution solved.......no not really. Because they want to rule the world and u bleeding hearts are helping them.
Stop making excuses for everything that goes wrong in the world and blaming the west for all the problems in the middle east. These Muslims have been at war with themselves and the west from day one.
How many western lives have been lost and injured trying to establish law and order in the middle east over the years, how much money has been wasted in support of these efforts....for what.
When will we learn.Never it appears.
Let the Muslims look after their own....after all they are all of the same faith.Stop being bleeding hearts....wipe them out.
There are 1.7 billion Muslims in the world, if Islam really promoted terrorism wed all be dead by now.
Becs and Beeno, you make me sick, you're no different from Nigel Farage.
